'11am Commitments': My First Attempt at Song Lyrics

Another 11am Sits slumped Waiting for expired hours To cry, ‘Fly or come!’ It’s the drop-or-dance moment For face-with-tears-of-joyed dreams to hiss or hum, To face the world or facepalm. Fingers, boxed in, surging, searching. Can you feel their sweat and blood, as they fold you up, launching you deep into the cobwebbed, or rather cop-webbed sea? Can you, my darlings, drowning dares and déjà vu, Feel blue, accept you,   belt out blues, swallow a bruise? Hey you! Push your buttons, Brave commitments. Cease the frictions, Help your hands. Press the buttons, Brave commitments. See what happens, Hold your hands. Smash those buttons, Brave commitments. Breathe your weapons, Hug your hands— And when tomorrow comes, You’ll seize seas, See that— 11am Gleams, Dreams Beam. 11am Gleams, Dreams Beam. 11am Gleams, Dreams Beam.

Sometimes, if I can afford it, I’ll read from 9am-8pm and 11.11pm-11.45pm befor
