'Fear Factor': A Poem by Ashley

Wrapped in my woollen box of cosy comfort
I flapped my part-time wings
Which stopped kissing me with a shiny smile
Full in the heart--
I shed them when I was in that loud crowd
My first name became Fear and my surname Full,
I joined the two and removed an L
And there's no difference as I can tell.

Note: This poem was written in 2016 as part of my second-year Creative Writing assignment. Of all the poems I've written, it's the shortest and my favourite by far.

    I removed the full and added a less,
    And suddenly my life is no longer a mess 😃

   Hello everyone! How are you? Thank God it doesn’t rhyme this time around. Phew. My sentences have become too rhyming nowadays, so imagine my relief my friends, imagine my relief indeed! Gosh! All those daft rhythmic rubbish again! What to do? Well, I think writing this listicle’s what to do. As the self-explanatory title suggests, in this post I share eleven things you’d relate to if you’re both a prose and poetry writer like me, or to put it more simply, a confused writer.
